More than 55 years have passed since the founder of the company, Don José Marqués Cañellas, worked renting his car, a Dodge Dart, which he drove himself. He did a lot of wedding services, those were years when there was a lot of work and, in this way, he began to collaborate with several travel agencies. These work contacts served as a base experience to later found his own company.
In 1968, the Marqués company was born as such, with the acquisition of the first passenger coach dedicated to occasional service. In 1979 the company had achieved stability and, despite the fact that the tourism boom continued, its owners, committed to chauffeur-driven car services for the most select public. The did not want to follow a path of accelerated expansion, so they promoted individualized services.
